Weaving has become a powerful return - to ancestry, to land, and to patience. I work both on- and off-loom, blending traditional Mexican techniques with experimental materials like wire, palm, or discarded plastic. Each piece becomes a map of labor and lineage. My project Border Loomers reflects this ethos: weaving not just fiber, but relationships, stories, and possible futures across the U.S. / Mexico border.
